Whether you’re a professional barista or a home enthusiast, the Pesado Puck Diffuser Screen is an essential tool for achieving a better-tasting espresso. Made from high-quality stainless steel and featuring 100-micron filtration holes, this innovative tool guides water gently into the coffee bed, resulting in a more even extraction. This prevents water micro-channeling, which can lead to less balanced and inconsistent espresso shots. Compatible with 58mm portafilters like LM/E61, NS, Breville 58mm

    • Stainless steel construction: The diffuser screen is made from durable and easy-to-clean stainless steel that won’t retain any odours.
    • 100-micron filtration holes: The filtration holes allow water to pass through in a gentle shower, ensuring that your coffee bed is not disturbed during the extraction process.
    • Compatible with a range of machines: The Pesado Puck Diffuser Screen is compatible with a variety of coffee machines, making it a versatile addition to your coffee tool collection.
    • Sleek design: The diffuser screen features the sleek and stylish Pesado branding, making it a statement piece in any coffee setup.

How to use the puck diffuser screen?
The puckscreen is 1.8mm thick so we recommend to dose less coffee as the coffee will expand and puck screen might bend or hit the shower screen. Simply place on top of your coffee puck before inserting portafilter into machine to pour.

How do I clean the puck diffuser screen?
Simply rinse after every use and when it needs a more thorough clean, soak in espresso cleaning solution or use steam wand to clean it.

    Size: 58.5mm diameter
    Thickness:1.8mm
    Weight: 22g
    Filtration Holes: 100μm (microns)

This tool helps with coffee grinds distribution and WDT in one step. No need to waste time on WDT, simply spin and go in a few seconds.  It provides a very clean workflow without any mess or funnels, etc and will not scratch your baskets unlike other DIY tools like safety pins etc. It is well-made from stainless steel and feels solid in the hand. WDT, or the Weiss Distribution Technique, can compensate for clumping caused by grinders by evenly distributing coffee in the portafilter to promote more even extractions and better tasting espresso. After using the tool the grinds will be level and fluffy without any clumps.

Fits a 58mm portafilter perfectly and is height adjustable.

    Expires March 2024.
A delicate and mellow blend of roasted brown rice grains and tea, genmaicha is well known for its deep taste. The brown rice or genmai used to create this product was also harvested from Wazuka Town. As part of d:matcha’s on going project to revitalise the region, they started organic rice farming in 2021. Always popular in the winter for its warm and comforting aromas, the tea is well balanced, full flavored and smooth.

When infused as a cold brew, the result is a refreshing brew. The natural aroma of the rice is also further enhanced in the absence of heat used during the steeping process. Genmaicha is suitable for those looking for a low caffeine tea drink.

In Japan, often in summer, tea is enjoyed in the form of “Mizudashi Sencha”, or “Cold Brew Sencha”. When brewed with cold water, the result is a drink with an extremely strong umami taste with lesser caffeine and catechin. The reason for this is because the tea leaves’ amino acids are more easily extracted, while catechin, which is responsible for biterness, is not. This makes the drink not only tasty but beneficial for your health by improving your immunity!

You can also enjoy sencha as a hot drink. Each purchase comes in a resealable pack.

How to enjoy this product as a hot drink:
