HARIO developed the W60 dripper in collaboration with Pete Licata to create a dripper that is full of options. The large ceramic dripper can be used with a combination of mesh and paper filters to produce a range of textures in your coffee. Use the paper filter for a classic V60 clarity, resin mesh for a full and rich body or a combination of the two.
Who is Pete Licata?
– 2013 World Barista Champion
– 2011 US Barista Champion
– Nomad Coffee Group Consultant“I wanted to address the barista’s preoccupation with flat brewing. Many of them strive to achieve an evenly even coffee layer, which is difficult with either cone or flat-bottomed paper filters. I’m also a big fan of versatility, and while working on the idea of flat bottom brewing, I realized that we can make a product with multiple uses.“

Mr. Tetsu Kasuya supervised The world Brewers Cup and is the first world champion in Asia. He proposed the new style which mimicked the rich taste of the cloth drip and allows you to more easily enjoy the coffee as if it were made carefully by the barista. You can enjoy the mild and clean taste as the newly developed bottom mesh makes it difficult to over extract.
