How to use:
- Add 200g of powder per 3.9L of lukewarm water.
- Stir to dissolve.
- Leave the solution in machine for up to 30 minutes.
- Rinse all parts thoroughly with fresh water.
- Refill the water tank with fresh water and brew a full tank. Repeat this step 2-3 more times to clear the machine of any descaling solution.
Tips for using Dezcal:
- Follow the descaling instructions in your machine’s user manual.
- To confirm that the machine is fully rinsed, sprinkle baking soda into some of the rinse water.
- If the baking soda foams, there is still Dezcal in the rinse water, please rinse again.
- If the baking soda drops into solution, the machine is fully rinsed. Blue or green water coming out is normal — this is caused by a chemical reaction of the minerals in your water and the citric acid of the descaled.
