Located at the foothills of the famous Mt Kenya, Nyeri is a region well known for high quality coffee commonly referred to as the home of Kenyan coffee. After harvesting, the coffee cherries are taken to the Maganjo factory where they are sorted and graded. Maganjo is a Kikuyu name meaning the “original land”, a name well deserved for an area with astonishing views over the Tumutumu hills and the snow capped peaks of Mt Kenya.

Owner & barista, Kiyokazu Suzuki trained under Paul Bassett, the Australian Barista Champion where he honed his craft as barista trainer and head roaster before solidifying his place in the industry by taking home the Japan Aeropress Championship in 2014.
