Located at the foothills of the famous Mt Kenya, Nyeri is a region well known for high quality coffee commonly referred to as the home of Kenyan coffee. After harvesting, the coffee cherries are taken to the Maganjo factory where they are sorted and graded. Maganjo is a Kikuyu name meaning the “original land”, a name well deserved for an area with astonishing views over the Tumutumu hills and the snow capped peaks of Mt Kenya.
