This Bamboo Chasen helps to create perfectly smooth and frothy matcha, ideal for making your own cup of matcha – hot or cold.
The 80-prong whisk is a budget and beginner friendly whisk producing a slightly coarser texture with larger bubbles, resulting in a more robust and earthy matcha flavour. Great for making matcha lattes or other recipes where a strong matcha flavour is desired.
The 100-prong whisks finer smaller bubbles, producing a smoother froth offering a balanced blend of matcha and water. Works well for both traditional thin matcha (usucha) and thicker preparations. A popular choice for both casual and more dedicated matcha drinkers.
The matcha whisk is made to be used and is considered disposable. Please note that with regular use, the bamboo may crack and the prongs can break eventually. Replace when needed.

Care and Usage:
Before first use, steep the head of whisk in warm water for a few minutes.
This allows the bamboo prongs to expand.
Dampen before every use to prevent damaging the prongs.

Do not let it sit in water.
